Pear Tree Church in the Ocean City of Southampton is the oldest Anglican Church anywhere in the world - being the first church built (1618) and consecrated (1620) after the Reformation.
Nearly 400 years on Pear Tree Church still seeks to serve the people of Southampton.
As part of the worldwide family of Anglican churches, as part of the Diocese of Winchester and, locally, as part of Churches Together in Itchen, Pear Tree Church is a small but active part of the community.
During the summer months (1st May - end of September)
Pear Tree Church will be OPEN every Wednesday 1.00 p.m. - 4.00 p.m.
If you have not been inside our church before, please feel free to drop in and have a look around, have a chat, or sit quietly.
